Setup is done once, by an owner or admin, and is reused every day. Get it right and the daily sheet will match what your manager sees on site.

Tanks and connected tanks

Add every underground tank with the name your staff use (T1, PMS 6) and its full capacity in litres. If two or more tanks are joined so fuel flows between them, connect them: Gasos then checks their stock together, as one pool. Only tanks holding the same fuel can be connected.

Pumps and nozzles

Add pumps in the order they stand on the forecourt. For each nozzle choose:
  • Side: A, B (or Single for a one-nozzle pump).
  • Draws from: the tank feeding it.
  • Meter: Digital meters show the total over two lines with three decimals; mechanical meters show whole litres.
  • Label: Gasos suggests the sticker format, like PMS 2A. Change it to match your stickers exactly.

Products and prices

Tick each fuel and lubricant the station sells and enter today’s price. Once the station is trading, prices change from the daily sheet instead, so the meters are read at the moment the price changes.

POS terminals and transfer accounts

Add each terminal and account the way your team says them: bank and holder, like Zenith – Saad. Each gets its own line on the hand-over and the sheet.

People and rules

Add the pump attendants. In Rules, check the tolerances (when a difference needs a reason). The defaults follow the Gasos Station Standard and suit most stations.

Opening position

Read and photograph every nozzle’s meter, and dip every tank, ideally at close the evening before the first day on Gasos. These become the first day’s opening. Once the station trades they’re fixed; later corrections go through the daily sheet.

Archive a station that closes

When a station closes, an owner or admin archives it from Stations: open its ⋯ menu and choose Archive. Nothing is deleted.
  • Nothing new is recorded there. No new daily sheets, sheet changes, deliveries, deposits, purchases, mart sales or credit fill-ups. Anyone who tries is told the station is archived.
  • It leaves day-to-day screens. It drops out of station pickers, Today, Review and the morning summary.
  • Its history stays. Reports for dates when it traded still include it, marked Archived. Its past sheets, stock and banking stay open by link, and the Daily sheets, Stock and Money pickers list it under Archived.
  • It frees a place on your plan. Archived stations don’t count towards your plan’s stations.
To trade there again, choose Reopen. Reopening needs a free place on your plan; if every place is in use, archive another station or choose a bigger plan first.
